Registration Process: Registration for the 2008 camp season begins Jan. 6, 2008

Shrine Mont Camps welcomes all without regard to race, gender or denominational background. Camps fill quickly, so do not delay sending in your registration!

• Ask your clergy or senior warden to sign the application.
• Campers must be within the ages specified on the first day of camp.
• We strongly discourage campers from arriving late or leaving early.
• A $75 non-refundable deposit per camper per session must accompany the registration (applied to your total fee). Registrations without deposits will not be processed.
• Applicants who are not parishioners of the Diocese of Virginia must pay an additional $35 above listed costs.
• Applications are date-stamped as they are received. Members of the Diocese of Virginia and 2007 campers will receive preferential registration until February 15.
• After February 15 remaining applications will be processed in the order in which they were received.
• Tuition must be paid in full 2 weeks before your camper's first day of camp. If not paid in full, your space may be given to someone on the waiting list.

Once You Are Registered:

• A health form will be mailed to you when we receive your registration.
• A physical examination (within the past year) by a doctor is required for ALL participants. Please note that the terrain at Shrine Mont is hilly and uneven, requiring some agility and stamina.
• If you do not receive confirmation within two weeks of mailing your registration, please call the Diocesan Program Office to verify that it has been received (1-800-DIOCESE or 804/643-8451 ext. 31).
  

Scholarship Information:

People come to Shrine Mont to celebrate being a part of the family of God. The cost of camp should not keep any child from attending.

• To receive a scholarship application form, check the appropriate box on the registration form.
• Families are STRONGLY encouraged to inquire of their clergy or senior warden about the availability of scholarship aid at the parish or regional level.
• Scholarship aid requests will begin to be disbursed on May 10, 2008.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations should be made in writing.
• We cannot refund your deposit after you are accepted, unless Shrine Mont Camps and Conferences cancels the event.
• For cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the first day of camp, a 50% penalty will be assessed.

It is the explicit policy of Shrine Mont and the Diocese of Virginia that possession or use of controlled substances, nonprescription drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, fireworks and dangerous weapons is prohibited at all youth camps and conferences.
